A Parlophone records promotional card that has been autographed on the front by The Beatles in blue ballpoint pen.
The autographs were obtained at a Beatles performance on January 25th 1963 at the Cooperative Hall, Darwen, Lancashire, England by the drummer of the support group ‘The Mike Taylor Combo’.
The autographs come with a letter from the recipient that reads ‘This is to confirm that the signed Parlophone photograph of the Beatles was obtained by me on Friday January 25th 1963 at the Baptist Youth Club dance held at the Cooperative Hall in Darwen, Lancashire. At that time, I was the drummer in the Mike Taylor Combo, who were one of the support groups of the Beatles at this dance. The official photo was given to me by their road manager at the time, Neil Aspinall who later handled the Apple Company for them, The Mike Taylor Combo shared the dressing room with the Beatles and that was when I had them sign the photograph’.
Measures 9cm x 14.5cm (3.5 inches x 5.75 inches). Although the promotional card has some issues with the contrast of the autographs it is incredibly rare to find a copy of this promotional card that has been signed on the front. Excellent condition.
