SIGNED PLEASE PLEASE ME ALBUM

Signed Beatles Please Please Me Album

A truly fantastic example of The Beatles debut album ‘Please Please Me’ which was released on March 2nd 1963 that has been fully signed by the group.

Each autograph is extremely bold, clear and well formed. The autographs were obtained on October 30th 1963 in Stockholm, Sweden when The Beatles were performing on a television pop show called ‘Drop In’.

The recording was made before a live audience at a theatre called Narrenteatern which was situated within an amusement park in the city. It began at 7.00pm, following afternoon rehearsals.

Although the group only intended performing two numbers ‘She Loves You’ and ‘Twist And Shout’, presenter Klas Burling persuaded The Beatles to extend their set to four, adding ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ and ‘long Tall Sally’.

The top flap of the sleeve has a small piece missing on the top right corner. It also has a small tape stain in the bottom right corner. Very good plus condition.
