Pink Floyd formed in 1965, the band consisted of friends Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and Syd Barrett. They were hugely popular on London’s underground scene in the late 1960s releasing 2 singles and making a very successful debut album. In December 1967 the group added David Gilmour to their line-up.
