It consists of a single breasted jacket with two buttons, labelled on the inside ‘Tailored By John Collier Of Oxford Street, London’ and a pair of trousers with button fly and turn ups. The suit comes with a crimson silk tie labelled ‘T.M.Lewin & Sons Ltd. 106 Jermyn Street London’.

An orange polyester/cotton boiler suit with two studs, zip fastener to front and two zip pockets to chest and one to rear, additional pocket to rear and pen pocket to right leg, two slant hip pockets and elasticated waist. Comes with a letter of provenance from Roger Burton of The Contemporary Wardrobe Collection that confirms this was worn by David in this extended promo video for ‘Jazzin For Blue Jean’ in 1984.
